Foundations for Laity Renewal supports programs for adults aimed at faith renewal and transformation in the everyday aspects of life.

Laity Lodge brings together creativity and faith-building at its retreat center in the Frio Canyon using effective relational speakers, theologians, and artists who empower more than 1,500 guests each year from various Christian denominations in a setting that is safe, serene, and challenging.

We are committed to retooling retreats to serve those who have a history in the Canyon and welcome a broader number of young adults, including cultural influencers such as artists, pastors, musicians, and business leaders through the following Campaign initiatives:

• Expand capacity to use technology to extend the impact of Laity Lodge far beyond the Canyon.


• Expand and sustain Laity Lodge Speakers’ Fund to help attract biblical and relationship thought leaders who appeal to men and women of all ages and backgrounds.


• Sustain an arts presence at Laity Lodge that helps engage the imagination and encourage deeper reflection.


• Renovate and update rooms at Laity Lodge to continue a strong tradition of hospitality.
