FOUNDATION GRANTS

The H. E. Butt Foundation is a private operating foundation, not a typical grant-making one. By legal definition, our particular Foundation is restricted in its giving to primarily its own programs. These include a Christian adult retreat center, a youth camp, a family camp, camping facilities for various qualifying groups in Texas, and other related outreach programs.

Each year, over 24,000 people use these facilities near Leakey, Texas. Because of the tremendous financial outlay of these ministries and needed capital improvements, it is necessary that we raise outside funds.

We regret we cannot be of financial assistance to the numerous worthwhile projects which come to our attention. But, we feel we should concentrate our limited financial resources to the above-mentioned vision and its multiplying programs to ensure their continued success, expanding growth, and deepened impact.
