John Kerr has been with Foundations for Laity Renewal since June 2004. During that time, he has come to learn that Laity Renewal's relationship with the Free Camp groups is not just one of hosting them, but a genuine partnership helping these groups minister to their constituents through the beauty of the Canyon and the excellence of our facilities and staff. John is excited to be leading the program born out of the original dream of Mr. and Mrs. Butt, Sr., when they purchased the camp property in 1954. John's wife, Kim, serves as Guest Services phone support throughout the year and cares for the children of LLYC's full-time staff during the summers as Canyon Club Director. John and Kim have three children, Coleman, Kalin, and Gideon.
